Frank Monte Centurion: Becoming an Attorney

Frank Monte is the owner of Centurion Holdings in Wesley Chapel, Florida, a part of the Tampa Bay metropolitan area. He also owns an automobile glass replacement company called Bond Auto Glass.

He is a self-made man who dropped out of high school but later earned his GED. He has started several successful companies, including a marketing firm – “I’ve been in marketing basically my entire life” – and beginning in 2012 led a successful effort to obtain settlements from BP after the Deepwater Horizon oil spill. Intensely ambitious, he is in college looking ahead to law school.

“I am currently finishing my undergrad and will head to law school to become an attorney,” he says. “I’ve made attorneys millions of dollars marketing for them while I was thrown the crumbs. To this day I haven’t met an honest, hard-working, intelligent attorney.”

As he knows, it takes a lot of effort to become an attorney, but Frank Monte has always been a determined and goal-oriented man. Law schools are typically three-year programs for those who go full-time. It involves a lot of work and study in and out of the classroom, and many law students find it is all but impossible to hold down a job and do their course work at the same time. The very nature of the work requires interpersonal skills, and being at ease with presenting information to other people – and usually under pressure, as with interactions with judges and other attorneys.

Frank Monte of Centurion is prepared to meet these challenges.
